Holy Matrimony is Christian marriage, in which the woman and man enter into a life-long union, make their vows before God and the Church, and receive the grace and blessing of God to help them fulfill their vows.
A Wedding is referred to in the catechism as Holy Matrimony. We enjoy celebrating with a couple as they are joined together by God into a life-long union, and such arrangements are not to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly.
To be married at St. Mark’s, at least one person of the couple needs to be Baptized and actively attending church. The couple is also required to undergo marriage preparation in which a couple explores their call to Christian marriage. For more information, please contact the Parish Office.
