“I am the vine, you are the branches; if you remain in me you will bear much fruit.” –John 15:5
The beginning of faith is to repent and return to the Lord. By the water of Holy Baptism we are connected by Christ with God the Father, whereby he adopts us as His children and transforms us into a fit dwelling place for the Holy Ghost.
As God’s children, we are connected with one another and to Christians throughout the world, just at branches are connected to one another by the vine. God is the source of our unity and in Him we are blessed so that we might be fruitful in the world.
